03 Apr Transitioning Tunics
It’s chilly. It’s warm. It’s back to cold. How’s a girl supposed to plan her daily outfit? I’ve put my furs and heavy jackets away, yet I’m not ready to embrace the cropped/festival wear rompers that I keep seeing in stores and online. (Seriously though, how is a 27 year old supposed to appear to have her life together in a dress/romper where you are one bend away from exposing all of your deepest darkest secrets?!) I’ve chosen a safer path for myself in over the knee boots and tunics. Normally, the word “tunic” makes me cringe. I think of turtlenecked shirts that are not long enough to be a dress but JUST right to be worn with cropped leggings and a kitten heel (you should see my face writing that last sentence). But if done correctly, with over-the-knee boots perhaps (and WITHOUT leggings!!!) tunics can be the perfect solution to your early Spring wardrobe crises. The beauty in this is that you can throw on a light jacket and your outfit will be elevated even more. Stay tuned for more rants and transitional inspired dressing inspiration coming soon!
